About the Human Race

What is The Human Race?

The Human Race is a 5k run/walk which brings the community together in support of charities serving McHenry County. Walkers and runners have the opportunity to raise pledges for the charity of their choice and participate on their behalf. Check back for a list of the 2012 participating charities.

Join a team with your co-workers, friends, favorite charity, or participate on your own. Prizes for the 2012 Human Race are:

• The $500 McHenry County Community Foundation Prize will go to the Top Fundraising Organization

• $250  will go to the Top Fundraising Individual's choice organization

• $150 will be awarded to the organization with the most fundraisers

• $100 will go to the organization with the most race participants

• $100 will go to the most improved organization

This cooperative event is open to all charities serving McHenry County. Not-For-Profit Resources provides and manages all  aspects of the event, allowing small to mid-sized organizations to easily and successfully raise funds.
